Confidentiality Agreement

'Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff'.

It is the Practice Policy at KVMC that NO patient information (personal or medical) be released to anyone over the phone.

Telephone Enquiries

Telephone interruptions to Doctors are only for emergencies. However, if you would like to leave a message with the receptionists, we will endeavour to arrange the doctor to return your call.

Due to privacy laws, blood test and X-ray results are NOT given over the phone.

Urgent Medical Treatment

Patients that require urgent medical treatment please inform our reception staff on arrival.

Reminder System

This practice uses AGPAL recommended reminder system and recall system regarding test results.

Interpreter Services

This service is available on request, please ask our reception staff.

Repeat Prescriptions

For repeat prescriptions, please make an appointment with your doctor.
